Nestled in the scenic town of Gilroy, California, our family-owned business, Search Strategy, specializes in local marketing services for businesses throughout the United States. We started small, helping businesses in our local community. Then, over time, to grow, but avoid working with our clients’ competitors, we expanded to other parts of the U.S.
Along with our team, we are dedicated to supporting service-based businesses in achieving their business growth objectives.
Our passion for growing landscaping companies comes from an experiential knowledge of the importance of small businesses — to families and communities. Christine’s father owned two small businesses — a tree trimming business and a chimney sweep business. These businesses supported her family growing up and also provided a great sense of accountability and pride of ownership.

Our Story
Founded in 2009, Search Strategy Marketing (SSM) began as a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and content marketing company aimed at helping small businesses get to Pg. 1 of Google. In January 2013, our team decided to formally adopt the Inbound Marketing methodology and become a HubSpot Certified Partner.
In November of 2015, SSM became recognized as a HubSpot Silver Tier partner. SSM continued with a focus on inbound marketing, bringing on larger accounts, in multiple industries, reach their business goals. However, nothing gave us more satisfaction and success than working with local service businesses. Since these are typically family-run businesses, we love seeing the immediate impact our work can have on their families — both now and in the future.
Today, we focus mainly on service-based businesses, doing local digital marketing for companies that are interested in growing their visibility and revenue. We work with clients all over the United States and are committed to continuing to grow our reach with the main goal of solid online results and the ROI to back them up.
When we’re not working, we’re spending time with our own family – both immediate and extended. We are also volunteers at our daughters’ school and at our church. Thank you so much for stopping by and considering our marketing services!
